A year in content
If you work in Content, chances are that you’ve had to create a content calendar to help you come up with on-brand topical projects or make sure that your great ideas go live at the right time. In a clogged-up space where you are fighting thousands of other brands to appear online, it is important to make sure you know when important UK or worldwide events happen well in advance so that you can be prepared and create high value, interesting content. There are a lot of sites and templates out there with important dates and events and while they are a useful starting point- when you work in financial services, the international day of cats or the European golf cup might not really help you share your expertise. So here is our calendar; there are some general dates (usually for consumer led stories) and some financial dates. You should always double check dates and make sure the sources you have are trustworthy. You can always add to it and once you have all the dates that are relevant to you in there, it makes brainstorming and planning for your content much easier.
