What a week for banking! Not only did the Co-operative buy 632 bank branches from Lloyds, but it’s also been a hot topic here on the TotallyMoney site.
Cliff told us how it’s possible to use 0% money transfers to pay off debt, Emma-Lou explained the differences between ethical and traditional banks and Penny walked us through peer-to-peer lending. We’ve also been discussing contactless cards, and on Twitter, contactless cards user Abi Silvester tweeted at us that sometimes using contactless can be difficult: “Shop assistants often look surprised when you attempt to use it or press the wrong button, so you have to start again.”
